Privacy Policy — Stumble for Shopify

Last updated: July 27, 2026 · Applies to the Stumble app for Shopify merchants. Shoppers using the Stumble consumer app are covered by the consumer privacy policy at shopstumble.com.

What Stumble is

Stumble is a fashion-discovery app that features independent boutiques. Installing the Stumble app on your Shopify store lets Stumble display your product catalog to shoppers, who are always sent to your store to buy — checkout never happens on Stumble.

What we collect from your store

The app requests a single permission: read products. Under it we sync your product catalog — titles, descriptions, product types, tags, images, variants, prices, and availability — plus basic shop details (store name, domain, currency). We also store the access credential Shopify issues at install, encrypted at rest.

We never collect your customers' data. The app requests no access to customers, orders, or any personal data of your buyers, so Shopify shows an empty "personal data" section on the install screen.

How we use it

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share it beyond the service providers who host and power Stumble (cloud hosting, database, AI search indexing). We don't use your catalog to train our own or third parties' general-purpose AI models.

Retention and deletion

Compliance

The app implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). Because we hold no customer data, customer requests are acknowledged with nothing to return or erase — by design.
